I would submit to you that anyone who is unwell enough to have a baby and want to kill it is probably not going to drop by the New England Baptist Church for chat with Pastor Michael.

But by putting quotes around the passage, Pastor Michael has created a little fiction here. Although I am not a bible scholar, I think the fools were referred to as fools because they didn’t believe in God, not because they didn’t believe in creationism.

Now here I was taken a little off guard. I hadn’t intended to debate him – I was there to take the picture. But it got us to talking and I found that it’s very hard to win an argument over a statement like this with someone who believes in a literal interpretation of the bible.
