Rachel Millman is an up-and-coming singer who came to the Boston area recently to shoot a music video for her debut single Throwin’ Rocks at The Moon. Although she’s already recorded the song in the studio, she decided to capture a different arrangement of the song for the video. Rachel and her team drew upon the a cappella group VoiceMale at Brandeis University. Jared Greenberg and the group created an arrangement of all the music, including percussion, and came together with Rachel to record the song on a cold, snowy New England weekend.

KeyMedia Public Relations, led by Denise Marsa, is responsible for bringing this whole concept to reality. Marsa and Millman’s company, Gila Enterprises, is producing the remix and video. Andy Gabrys has also been working with the KeyMedia team on the a cappella remix from his new studio, now based out of Santa Fe, NM.  The video was filmed and is being edited by Boston local Michael Murie, and it features Rachel Millman singing the song surrounded by the Brandeis VoiceMale. The a cappella remix of Throwin’ Rocks at the Moon is scheduled to be released in a few weeks.
