Fall in Boston, 2008

There’s this one building in downtown Boston that catches the light at sunset just so. Late this afternoon, I was driving around looking for a view so I could take some pictures. The clouds were looking interesting and I thought I might get a good sunset. The sunset turned out to be ho-hum, but I did manage to snag some nice shots of it lighting up this building.

This was taken at Robbins Farm Park, one of the jewels of Arlington. The park is located near between Route 2 and Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington Heights. I’ve taken lots of pictures here before, most notably, that of the space shuttle. But today, I just wanted to see some sunset.

All things considered, it wasn’t that spectaular a sunset tonight. But I did manage to catch that one special building as it reflected the sunlight direct back at me. Enjoy.
