Yeah, that's right, you can't get rid of me that easily.

 

Actually, a lot of people have been asking what's up with the web site, and why I haven't been posting for awhile.

 

Give me a break, man, I got laid off, OK?

 

Actually, the time has been great.  Here's a fun happy shot of Katherine playing in my father-in-law's pool.  She loves the water.

 

I did get laid off, and I did retreat from society for a little while, but I'm getting back in the groove now, and ready to go.

 

OK, so what else is up?  The most important other news is that Kara is pregnant with our second - we found out, like, a day or two before I got the axe.  Wonderful timing, huh?  Add to that she was so sick for the first trimester that it was all I could do to hang on for dear life.  I put in a lot, and I mean a lot of time over the last three months taking care of my girls.  Things just got better all of the sudden last week (right around 12 1/2 weeks, in case you are counting), although she still has her moments.

 

I went pro this year as a photographer too, getting my first two jobs shooting local bands, which has been a real blast.  More to come on that later, but check out DiggerDawg and Carlson if you get a chance.  I did the album shoot and promo posters for Carlson as well as some live shots, and most of the group and individual photos for DiggerDawg.  I am not even close to making a living at this yet, but it's been a lot of fun.
